Privacy Policy

Effective date: 18 September 2026

The Short Version

We do not collect your data. We could not, even if we wanted to, because Hookline has no servers.

Everything you do in this game stays on your phone: your progress, your street of buildings, your profile photo, your settings. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is shared, nothing is sold.

If you delete the app, all of it is gone. That is the whole story. The rest of this page just says it more carefully.

Who We Are

Hookline is a mobile game published by Bulut Yaman.

This policy explains how the game handles information. It applies to the Hookline app on Android and to nothing else. If you follow a link out of the app, you are somewhere else, and their rules apply there.

What We Collect

Nothing.

Hookline has no backend, no accounts, no login, no analytics, and no third-party software development kits. The game makes no network requests of its own. We do not receive your name, your email, your device identifier, your location, your contacts, or your gameplay statistics.

We do not know who you are, and we do not know that you play. That is by design.

What Lives on Your Device

The game saves things locally so your street is still there tomorrow. All of it is stored in the app's private storage on your device.

None of this leaves the device. The game turns off Android backup for its data, so your progress and photo are not copied to any cloud or to a new phone.

Your Photo

You can give your profile a photo. This is entirely optional, and the game works exactly the same without one.

If you refuse camera access, nothing breaks. The crane cabin simply shows the default illustration instead.

Google Play Games

If you are signed in to Google Play Games, your scores and achievements are sent to Google so you can compare them with friends. This is optional, and the game is fully playable without it, showing local records instead. Google handles your Play Games profile and submitted scores under Google's own privacy policy. We only send scores and achievement progress.

Purchases

Hookline offers optional in-app purchases: Gold Bolts, a one-time Foreman Kit, and the Site Pass subscription.

All purchases are processed by Google Play. We never see your card number, your billing address, or your Google Account details. Google Play tells the app only whether a purchase completed, so the app can hand you what you bought.

Purchases are for cosmetic items, convenience, and extra attempts. Nothing in this game can be exchanged for money or for anything of real-world value, and there is no gambling of any kind.

Subscriptions, renewals, and cancellations are managed in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions.

Reminders

If you turn on the delivery reminder in Settings, the game asks your device for permission to show notifications. The reminder is scheduled locally on your device. There is no push server, nothing is sent to us, and you can turn it off at any time in Settings or in your device's notification settings.

No Ads, No Tracking, No Analytics

Hookline shows no advertising of any kind.

There are no advertising identifiers, no tracking pixels, no attribution frameworks, and no cross-app or cross-site tracking.

There are also no analytics. We do not measure sessions, crashes, funnels, or anything else about how you play.

Children

Hookline is a friendly game about building a small town with a crane. It is suitable for all ages.

There are no accounts, no chat, no messaging, no user-generated content, no social feeds, and no links to social networks inside gameplay. Because the game collects no data at all, it collects no data from children either.

The only outbound links are the ones on this page and in the legal section of Settings, and the standard Google Play purchase flow, which is protected by your device's own purchase controls.

How to Delete Everything

You are always one tap away from a clean slate.

Because nothing is stored anywhere else, there is nothing left for us to delete on your behalf and nothing for you to request from us.

Your Rights

Privacy laws such as the GDPR in Europe and the CCPA in California give you rights over personal data held about you: the right to know, to access, to correct, to delete, and to object to sale or sharing.

We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, or delete. We do not sell or share personal information, because we do not have any.

If you believe otherwise, write to us at the address below and we will answer.

Changes to This Policy

If the game ever changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top.

If a future version of the game ever begins collecting data, we will say so plainly here before it happens, and the app will ask for your consent where the law requires it.
